My Interest and Journey into teaching movement began in 2005 when I found the world of reformer Pilates. I fell in love with the slow controlled movements and the connection between mind and body. This ingrained in me the importance of deliberate and mindful movement and how we think and feel impacts how well we move.


Utilising these skills as I was teaching I realised that everybody's needs are not the same and this complexity required me to advance my knowledge to address a wide range of challenges and provide solutions to improve all my clients fitness journey. I have refined my methods over the years and  Strength in movement was born to give clients the strong body they need to navigate any thing they need.

  • 1. How long will it really take until I see improvements in my posture and strength?

     Many of our clients begin to notice subtle improvements within just a couple of weeks of consistent practice using the Foundation programme. However, significant changes and strength development typically become apparent after 2-3 months. Remember, everyone's body is different, and the key is consistency and dedication to the program.

  • Is the Foundation program suitable for beginners or those new to fitness?

    Absolutely! The program is designed to cater to all fitness levels, from complete beginners to seasoned enthusiasts. Our foundational exercises and holistic approach ensure that everyone can benefit, irrespective of their starting point.

  • What if I have a pre-existing medical condition or injury?

    The program does emphasize safe and effective techniques, but if you have a medical condition or injury, it's crucial to consult with a medical professional or therapist before starting any fitness regimen, including Foundation of Movement.

  • Do I need any special equipment for the Core Mastery exercises?

    The exercises are performed with just your body weight. However, some might benefit from basic equipment like a yoga mat for added comfort but you can just as easily start on a carpeted floor

  • Is Foundation of Movement a one-time program, or is it progressive in nature?

    The Foundation of movement is just that. Its building  a base for you to gain strength and flexibility. If you keep consistant with the exercises you will be progressin up through strength in Movement or the fitness exercises of your choice, but even as you get stronger its always good to remind yourself of the basics, keep you grounded and know you are performing any exercises correctly

  • What if I need additional support or have questions during the program?
